So many of us try make the best low light performance from our APS-C sized sensors by snapping on some fast lenses in low light, like the inexpensive Canon EF 50mm 1.8… but the problem with wide open apertures is that you get such shallow DoF which almost causes the tip of someones nose to be in focus and their eyes to be blurred! if we could take usable shots at ISO6400… life would be good.
